Who we are
District 8 Junior Thespians is an affiliate of Florida Thespian Society, Inc, a Chapter of the International Thespian Society and Educational Theatre Association. Broken into geographic districts by grade level, Junior District 8 serves all schools teaching grades 6 through 8 in Orange County, Florida. A student focused organization, we host our annual District Festival each fall as a qualifying event for the Florida Junior Thespian State Festival for both One Acts and Thespys®.
The District 8 Board of Directors is comprised of all Thespian Troupe Directors in the district. The Board is lead by its Chair and Co-Chair, elected biannually from its voting members.
